We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy operative who will be responsible for driving a company vehicle to various locations within the M25 including central London, collecting and removing rubbish from site, assisting with garden clearance and other labouring and purchasing and delivering materials where required.
Another key duty will be tidying and maintaining the store in the yard.
This position will start and finish every day in Sevenoaks, Kent (and not near any stations), so having access to your own transport for commuting is essential.
We are looking for an organised candidate with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Essential Duties:
- Transport goods in a safe and timely manner in accordance with company guidelines
- Load and unload rubbish and materials
- Assist with labouring
- Monitor cargo or equipment that is being transported or stored in the van
- Complete required paperwork check-ins and check-outs
- Communicate effectively with head office and site contacts
- Maintain a professional attitude while on-call to provide assistance to customers or colleagues in need
