- Responsible for maintenance issues within the hotel
- Perform daily checks around the hotel
- Conduct lift emergency release procedures as required
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment within the hotel
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
- Responsible for the health and safety of the hotel
- Ensure monthly safety inspections take place and employees are trained accordingly
- Ensure proper records are kept relating to all plants and equipment for the hotel including repair and service records.
- Ensure that stores have adequate stocks of materials, equipment and tools and are kept in a clean and safe environment.
- Supports the implementation of Hyatt Brand Standards, demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatt’s Values and Culture Characteristics.
- Attends and contributes to all training sessions and meetings as required.
- Always exercises responsible behaviour and positively represents the hotel team and Hyatt International.
- Maintains strong, professional relationship with the relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organizations.
- Reads the hotel's Employee Handbook and understand and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
- Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
