Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
- Support the implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences
- Maintain clear and effective communication with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update records regularly
- Drive or accompany residents to appointments or outings as needed, ensuring safe transportation and adherence to schedules
- Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any concerns promptly
- Contribute to a warm, friendly atmosphere that encourages independence and enhances quality of life for residents
Requirements
- Valid driving license with the ability to drive safely in various conditions (nice-to-have)
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English for effective interaction with residents and team members
- Basic IT skills for updating electronic care plans and documentation accurately
- Strong communication skills with a caring attitude that fosters trust and understanding
- Knowledge of care plans, health & safety procedures, and safeguarding policies is advantageous
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as required
