We are seeking a dedicated Window Fitter/Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with the installation and fitting of windows and doors. Responsibilities
- Assisting with the installation and fitting of windows in residential and commercial properties
- Preparing work areas by clearing debris and setting up scaffolding or ladders as required
- Handling and operating hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Assisting with site clean-up and ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- Reading schematics or technical drawings to understand project specifications (if applicable)
Skills
- Experience or familiarity with fitting, replacing and repairing windows and doors in commercial and residential properties
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Knowledge of schematics and technical drawings is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to work well within a team environment and follow instructions accurately
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour over extended periods and work at heights if necessary
- Good organisational skills with an organised approach to tasks and safety procedures
- Willingness to learn new skills related to window fitting and general construction activities
