Electrical Testing & Remedials Engineer – Contract
Location: Birmingham & surrounding areas
Contract: Self-employed / Contract
Rate: Competitive SOR rate
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Testing & Remedials Engineer to work on a contract basis across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
The role will involve completing electrical testing, inspection and remedial works within occupied residential properties on a Schedule of Rates (SOR) basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete electrical testing, inspection and remedial works.
- Identify and rectify electrical defects and non-compliances.
- Complete accurate testing and installation records.
- Work safely in line with RAMS and site requirements.
- Liaise professionally with residents, site management and other trades.
- Maintain a clean and professional working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical testing, inspection and remedial works.
- Relevant electrical qualifications and testing certification.
- Own van and full set of tools essential.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Previous experience working in residential properties is advantageous.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical contractor looking for ongoing SOR work in the Birmingham area.
Pay: £200.00-£250.00 per day
