Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team. This role involves painting and finishing newly manufactured and installed timber joinery, including sash windows and doors, ensuring the highest standards of presentation and durability.
This is a split role between our workshop and sites across London. In the workshop, you will prepare, spray paint and finish new timber joinery ready for installation. On site, you will carry out the finishing touches to newly installed joinery, including any touch-ups, sealing, adjustments and remedial work required to ensure every installation is completed to the highest standard before being signed off with the client.
You will also be responsible for signing off completed joinery installations with clients, ensuring they are completely satisfied with the finished product.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and take pride in their work. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as you will often be the final point of contact with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, spray painting and finishing new timber sash windows, casement windows and doors in our workshop
- Carrying out final finishing, touch-ups, sealing and remedial work to newly installed joinery on site
- Signing off completed work with clients and ensuring full satisfaction before completion
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
- Upholding health and safety standards on site
- Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator, ideally with experience working on timber windows and doors
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality finishes
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Reliability and punctuality
- Valid UK driving licence
Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (Saturday work available)
Location: Split between our workshop in Enfield and various sites across London and the surrounding areas.
