Magpie Security are a family run company looking to recruit a Security Officer to join our team in Leicester. This is a regular ongoing position for a long term client in the private accommodation sector.
Ideally, the right candidate will have had previous experience in a Concierge Security Role, be fluent in Witten and Spoken English and understand the value of providing a high level of service. Full training will be provided for this role, candidates will also need to be confident using a smartphone and tablet computers.
Main Duties
- Greeting all visitors and tenants who enter the premises, and directing them when needed.
- Taking deliveries and signing packages onto the system.
- Monitoring CCTV.
- Understanding escalation procedures and departmental functions around the clients business.
- Provide consumer liaison as and when required.
- Respond to Fire Alarm Activations and understand emergency procedures.
- Ensuring security logs are clearly written, being kept up to date and detailed.
- Complete all necessary paperwork.
Candidates will need a checkable work history, for the previous five years.

- SIA CCTV Licence (required)
- SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor Licence (required)
- 5 Year Check Able work history (required)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
