We’re a busy 4-star hotel in the heart of Manchester, just minutes from Piccadilly Station, and we’re looking for a Night Manager to oversee all hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring everything runs smoothly while delivering outstanding guest service.
What You’ll Do
Night Leadership Guest Experience
- Oversee all hotel operations during the night shift
- Lead, support, and guide the night reception team
- Ensure all guests receive a warm, professional, and efficient service
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and escalations in a calm and effective manner
Operations Safety
- Take full responsibility for hotel safety, security, and compliance overnight
- Monitor the building and ensure all areas remain secure
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, following correct procedures
- Liaise with security, maintenance, and external services when required
Night Audit Reporting
- Complete and review night audit procedures accurately
- Check financial reports, room charges, and system updates
- Ensure all systems and records are fully updated for the day team handover
Handover Communication
- Provide clear, detailed handovers to the Front Office and Management teams
- Highlight any issues, incidents, or VIP requirements
- Ensure continuity of service between night and day operations
