Job Summary
We are looking for a customer focused, enthusiastic, experienced, reliable and highly organised Shop Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our busy souvenir and gift shop. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with colleagues to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the shop and overseeing daily operation
- Driving sales by delivering excellent customer service
- Ensure accurate til procedures and compliance with company policies
- Maintaining excellent communication with owner
- Merchandising displays
- Maintaining high standards of shop presentation and cleanlieness
- Handling cash up and daily administration, including banking
- Motivate and support team members
- Staff training
- Monitoring stock levels and placing orders in a timely manner in order to maximise sales.
What we are looking for:
- Previous retail management or supervisory experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A self-motivated individual who is confident working independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Honest and dependable
- A positive, friendly and professional approach
