We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of motor vehicles. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to work independently and efficiently to ensure optimal equipment performance. The ideal applicant will possess excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and experience within the motor trade / garage environment.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and repairs.
- Diagnose faults using a Snap-On diagnostic machine.
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools & power tools.
- Repair / replace tyres.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair status and maintenance needs.
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical repair, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly processes.
- Experience working with vehicle ramps.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or installations.
- Prior experience in customer service is advantageous but not essential; excellent communication skills are required
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Candidates should be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Pay: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
