Dean McCathie Painters & Decorators Ltd are a well-established, professional decorating company specialising in high-quality residential and commercial finishes. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit experienced Painter & Decorators who take real pride in their craft and deliver exceptional standards.
This role is suited to individuals who are detail-focused, reliable, and committed to producing a premium finish on every project.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
High-standard interior and exterior painting & decorating
Experience with spray finishing (airless & HVLP preferred)
AMES taping and preparation work
Wallpapering to a high standard (including feature walls and detailed finishes)
Strong attention to detail with a consistent, high-end finish
Maintaining clean, tidy, and organised workspaces at all times
Working professionally in client homes and occupied environments
What we’re looking for:
Fully qualified / time-served Painter & Decorator
Proven experience across all aspects of decorating
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional attitude and good communication skills
Willingness to travel for work
Full UK driving licence preferred (not essential)
What we offer:
Company van supplied
Immediate start available
PAYE: £15–£16.90 per hour with pension
CIS: £18–£23 per hour (dependent on experience and skill level)
28 days holiday per year (Paye employees)
Rates are reflective of experience, quality of workmanship, and overall skill level.
Additional Information:
No CSCS card required
