As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a highly organised and proactive Contracts & Site Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a respected and successful company where you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of projects from initial coordination through to successful completion on site.
The Opportunity
This is a varied and rewarding office-based role that sits at the heart of our project delivery function. Working closely with Contracts Managers, the Drawing Office, Production Team, Site Teams and subcontractors, you will help coordinate the many moving parts involved in delivering successful construction projects safely, efficiently and on programme.
The position would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is confident managing multiple priorities and takes pride in ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. No two days are the same, and your contribution will have a direct impact on the successful delivery of our contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the hire and off-hire of plant and equipment for construction projects.
- Schedule and manage cold rolled deliveries to site, ensuring materials arrive accurately and in line with programme requirements.
- Organise and place bolt and fixing orders, ensuring timely delivery to site.
- Arrange accommodation (“digs”) for site operatives working away from home.
- Prepare and maintain site work diaries, records and associated project documentation.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of erection packs for pricing, liaising with the Drawing Office and steel erectors.
- Support Contracts Managers with general project coordination and logistics to help maintain programme and operational efficiency.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- A confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively under pressure.
- Proactive, self-motivated and capable of working on their own initiative.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
- Accurate and dependable in a fast-paced working environment.
- Experienced within a construction, engineering or manufacturing environment (desirable, but not essential).
