The Role
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of our residents by providing high-quality care and emotional support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering compassionate, person-centred care to residents in a residential setting
- Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication support
- Supporting residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other health conditions
- Monitoring and recording residents’ wellbeing and reporting any concerns
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Working closely with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure the best possible care
What We’re Looking For
- A kind, patient, and empathetic nature
- A genuine desire to support and care for others
- SVQ Level 2 or 3 is desirable but not essential — full training and support can be provided
- Ability to work a variety of shifts on a rota basis across 7 days
