We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Sales Assistant to support our busy pharmacy team and assist customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist customers and process sales
- Deal with orders, stock control and rotation
- Assist the Pharmacist and Dispensing team in their duties using the equipment provided
- Take in and hand out prescriptions
- Ensure that all work areas are kept in a clean and tidy state
- Observe confidentiality at all times
Hours
Full-time working Mondays to Fridays 9am to 5.30p + 1:4 Saturdays 9am to 1pm but part-time considered for the right candidate.
Person Specification / Experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Pharmacy experience desirable but not essential
- Medicine Counter Assistant qualification or willing to work towards
- Adaptable with ability to deal with conflicting demands
- Ability to work in a team
- Good at problem solving
- Passion for delivering great healthcare advice in a local community

Pay: £12.90-£13.30 per hour
