The Role
We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our team at Benjamin Chemist. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established independent pharmacy where you can make a meaningful impact on patient care while enjoying a healthy work-life balance with no weekend commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately dispense and clinically check prescriptions in accordance with legal and professional requirements.
- Provide expert advice and counselling to patients on the safe and effective use of medicines.
- Deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care and support positive health outcomes.
- Conduct medication reviews and monitor patients' therapy for safety, effectiveness, and adherence.
- Work collaboratively with GPs, healthcare professionals, and the wider pharmacy team to optimise patient care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Ensure compliance with GPhC standards, NHS regulations, and company procedures.
- Support the delivery and development of pharmacy and public health services.
About You
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient-centred care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Community pharmacy experience is desirable but newly qualified pharmacists are encouraged to apply.
- Independent Prescriber qualification is advantageous but not essential.
