Role Overview
The Weekend Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring our coffee vending machines across customer sites in South Wales are clean, fully stocked and presented to a high standard.
Working every Saturday, you will follow a scheduled route of customer sites, completing routine cleaning, replenishment and merchandising activities to ensure machines are ready for customers and fully operational for the week ahead.
This is a practical, customer-facing role suited to someone who is reliable, organised, takes pride in their work and is comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit customer sites in line with the agreed Saturday route and schedule.
- Carry out thorough cleaning of coffee vending machines to the required BCR standard.
- Replenish coffee, milk, cups and other machine ingredients and consumables as required.
- Check machines are clean, presentable and ready for use.
- Complete scheduled deep-cleaning activities in line with the cleaning rota.
- Check stock levels and report any shortages or issues identified during site visits.
- Identify and report any machine faults, damage or operational issues to the Field Service Team.
- Ensure all customer areas are left clean and tidy following each visit.
- Complete all required visit records accurately and promptly.
- Follow all company procedures relating to health and safety, vehicle use, food hygiene and customer sites.
- Represent Bridge Coffee Roasters professionally when visiting customer locations.
- Manage the allocated route efficiently to ensure all scheduled sites are completed within the available working hours.

Working Pattern
- Every Saturday – approx. 6 hours per week.
- Start and finish times will be agreed based on the allocated route and customer requirements.
- The role will primarily involve travelling between customer sites across South Wales.
- A company van and fuel will be provided for use during working hours for the purpose of carrying out the role.
- The successful candidate must hold a valid driving licence and be comfortable driving a company vehicle.
What Good Looks Like
The successful candidate will ensure that, by the end of each Saturday route:
- All scheduled customer sites have been visited.
- Coffee vending machines are thoroughly cleaned and presented to a high standard.
- Machines are appropriately replenished and ready for use.
- Scheduled deep-cleaning tasks have been completed.
- Any faults, damage, stock issues or customer concerns have been identified and reported.
- All visit records have been completed accurately.
- Customer sites have been left clean, tidy and ready for the week ahead.
About the Role
This is an important role in maintaining the quality and presentation of our coffee vending estate. You will be the person physically visiting sites at the weekend and ensuring our machines are clean, stocked and looking their best when customers return on Monday.
The role would suit someone looking for a regular Saturday position who enjoys working independently, takes pride in doing a job properly and is comfortable travelling between multiple customer locations.
