Delivery Driver
We are looking to recruit a dedicated individual for the role of Delivery Driver
The purpose of your role is to help with overall abattoir operations, together with responsibility for lamb selection, delivery, quality control and safety measures. You will report to the Production Manager, and you will also carry out delivery work to local butchers. A driving license is essential.
It’s preferable to have a solid background of working in the food production industry, but not essential as full training will be given. You will be organised, have a hands-on approach, a keen eye for detail whilst ensuring all legal requirements are maintained for all relevant documentation. You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work alone or as part of a team. This is a hands on, physical job due to the nature of the goods delivered.
· Deliveries to local butchers (Drivers License essential).
· Loading and selection of carcasses.
· Ensure production runs efficiently by working as a team.
· Follow food safety and hygiene rules carefully and responsibly.
· Liaise with different internal teams and external customers.

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week, possible weekend work available.
Salary is based on experience and the right candidate.
