We're looking for an experienced and reliable Maintenance Person to join the team at Earls Lodge Care Home, part of the award-winning Strong Life Care family.
This is much more than a maintenance role. You'll play a vital part in ensuring our 52-bed residential care home remains safe, comfortable and welcoming for our residents, visitors and colleagues every day.

About the Role
You'll be responsible for the general maintenance, upkeep and presentation of the home, helping to ensure our environment remains safe, secure and well maintained.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out routine repairs and general maintenance.
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests.
- Completing planned maintenance checks and keeping accurate records.
- Maintaining the home's gardens and external areas.
- Liaising with approved contractors when specialist work is required.
- Supporting health and safety, fire safety and compliance standards throughout the home.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a maintenance, facilities or property maintenance role.
- Is skilled in general repairs, decorating, plumbing or basic electrical work.
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards.
- Is organised, dependable and able to work independently.
- Has a positive, friendly attitude and enjoys working with people.
- Understands the importance of creating a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
