Job Overview
We have a vacancy for an experienced Service Advisor to join our busy team in Sleaford.
This is a key position within our organisation which requires skill and commitment to completing a range of tasks correctly every time.
Key Aspects of the Role
Provide first-class administration, both internally and externally, through clear verbal and written communication and record-keeping
Support the smooth-running of the workshop by contributing to a range of roles when required – customer reception, raising work orders, liaising with customers - keeping them informed of job progress and completion and gaining authorisation and final order numbers where necessary – and raising invoices and R&M claims.
In conjunction with the whole team, collaborate to achieve customer satisfaction goals, workshop sales, gross profit margins, performance standards and company KPIs
Understand and help develop best practice in all service operations and deliver consistently.
Adhere to all company, franchise, health & safety and environmental policies and standards
Key Result Areas
Achievement of company and manufacturer led initiatives including KPIs.
Maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external customers.
Accurate and complete fulfilment of administration and communication tasks
Good communication flows internally and externally
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
Competencies
- Exceptional telephone and written communication skills.
- A practical understanding of workshop and/ or transport environments
- Computer literacy, with the capacity to work with a range of online systems
- [Xpower knowledge will be an advantage.]
Smart personal presentation.
- A “can do”, versatile and helpful approach.
- Calm and methodical under pressure.
20 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 13:00-17:00) Along with 1 in 4 Saturdays 08.00-12.00.
Salary negotiable depending on knowledge, skills and experience
31 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays) will be pro-rata’d
