The WA Cooke Group Engineers division are currently recruiting a machine operator to undertake a variety of steel engineering projects ranging from using manual lathes, milling machines, surface grinders and pillar/radial drills. (Equipment examples are Colchester Mastiffs and Crow-Thorn lathes)
We are a long established (1926) family company with an ever expanding order book looking for a machine operator to join our team on a permanent basis.
Our machines are not CNC.

Experience in both carbon and stainless steel
Capable of reading engineering drawings
Attention to detail
Maintain a good standard of housekeeping at all times
City and Guilds / NVQ level 3 or similar

Monday-Thursday 07.45 - 16.30
Friday 07.45 - 12.30
Overtime as available
