Stepping Stones Montessori Nursery is a nurturing children's nursery located in Waverton, Chester. We are dedicated to providing a high-quality early childhood education experience in a small independent setting.
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to work in our Baby Room and to become part of our team here. You will work under the direction of the Room Leader in a provision which takes up to 9 babies aged 3 months - 18 months.
This role can be worked over 3 or 4 days between the hours of 8am - 6pm.
Salary is dependent on age and experience.
Please note we are not on a bus route so you must be able to reliably travel to the nursery each day.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's learning and development.
- Provide high-quality childcare in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Be a key person, observe and assess children's progress, adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's development and well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery setting.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting.
- Childcare or Early Years Qualification (NVQ Level 2 or Level 3) is essential
- Experience of working with babies is preferred
