Construction Take Off Estimator / Quantity Surveyor with experience in the Construction Industry
Please note: This is in person, on site vacancy and not a remote vacancy. You will be required to attend the office at CF72.
We are a SME Construction Company who carry our new build and refurbishment and are seeking an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in estimating for commercial tenders, mainly for the NHS and Local Authorities.
- Prepare quotations for new build and refurbishment
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and overheads.
- Monitor project expenses and implement cost control measures to ensure financial efficiency.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary information for accurate budgeting.
- Prepare tender documents and assist in the selection of contractors through competitive bidding processes.
- Prepare valuations
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and project documentation.
Experience
- Experience in estimating / quantity surveying in the construction industry is essential
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations affecting the industry.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders and present findings clearly.
