This September, we are opening a brand-new nursery in Alton, and we’re looking for passionate Early Years Practitioners to join our founding team.
We are an independent nursery group, not a corporate chain. Relationships matter to us. We believe children thrive when they feel safe, valued and inspired, and we believe the same is true for the adults who care for them.
Our new nursery will combine beautiful indoor spaces with a strong focus on outdoor learning, curiosity, exploration and child-led discovery. Forest school, fresh air, muddy boots, creativity, adventure and meaningful experiences will be part of everyday life.
This is a rare opportunity to help build a nursery from the very beginning. You’ll help shape the culture, build lasting relationships with children and families, and be part of a team that genuinely enjoys coming to work each day.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for people who are warm, caring and passionate about giving children the very best start in life.
Whether you’re newly qualified or already have experience in an early years setting, we’d love to hear from you. We’re much more interested in finding people with the right attitude, kindness and enthusiasm than simply the perfect CV.
If you enjoy getting outdoors, following children’s interests and making every day exciting, you’ll fit right in.
Your role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:
- Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel happy, secure and confident.
- Support children’s learning and development through play and meaningful experiences.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities appropriate to your role and qualification level.
- Build warm, trusting relationships with children and their families.
- Observe and support children’s development in line with the EYFS.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive, supportive team environment.
- Promote safeguarding, health and wellbeing at all times.
- Help create a nursery where children, families and staff all feel valued.
What we’re looking for
- A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, reliable and positive approach.
- A willingness to learn, develop and grow with the nursery.
What you’ll get
- The opportunity to help shape a brand-new nursery from the very beginning.
- A supportive and approachable leadership team.
- Ongoing professional development and training.
- Career progression opportunities within a growing independent nursery group.
- A beautiful setting with a genuine focus on outdoor learning and child-led play.
- A workplace where your ideas, voice and contribution truly matter.
- On-site parking.
A final note
We know the best practitioners don’t always tick every box.
If you’re reading this and thinking, “I’d love to be part of something like this,” we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for the right people—those who care deeply about children, enjoy being part of a supportive team and want to help create something truly special from day one.
Come and grow with us.
