Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery to complete construction and repair tasks efficiently
- Perform carpentry, masonry, roofing, and other structural work with attention to detail and safety standards
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual labor required for material handling, site preparation, and installation projects
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with equipment or structures and implement effective solutions
- Assist with commercial driving duties for transporting materials or equipment between sites as needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all activities to ensure a secure work environment
- Collaborate with team members to plan project steps, coordinate tasks, and meet project deadlines
Skills
- Proficiency in welding techniques and the use of related tools
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and their proper maintenance
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment or structural issues
- Experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry or related trades is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely over extended periods
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience in commercial driving preferred
- Solid understanding of safety procedures relevant to construction and maintenance work
