Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in diverse settings, including commercial, hospitality, and residential environments. Previous experience in janitorial or hotel cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure all areas are hygienic and presentable
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas regularly
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied frequently
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any faults or damages
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks when required, including carpet cleaning or window washing
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with company standards and client requirements
Skills
- Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on hygiene standards
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
