In this role, you'll be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and enhancing landscapes that inspire and delight. Responsibilities
- Construct new landscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, planting, mulching, and fertilizing to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy.
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems to install or repair landscape elements efficiently.
- Maintain tools and equipment regularly to ensure safety and optimal performance.
- Assist with gardening tasks by planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery while adhering to horticultural best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscape projects from start to finish.
- Conduct routine inspections of landscapes for issues requiring repair or ongoing maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction work or landscaping projects with a strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, irrigation systems, and small machinery like excavators.
- Familiarity with hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, and hoes.
- Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions; stamina for long periods of manual labor.
- Knowledge of gardening principles, horticulture practices, and plant care is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols when handling equipment or performing construction activities.
- Prior experience working with irrigation systems or mechanical troubleshooting is a plus.

Pay: £25,420.00-£52,370.94 per year
