Job Summary
We specialise in spray painting, painting & decorating, UPVC spraying, windows, doors, kitchens, commercial coatings, exterior coatings, and high-end finishing work throughout Scotland.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion of paints
- Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other decorative finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other tools.
- Ensure all work is completed to client specifications and within agreed timeframes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
- Assist in the planning and organising of decorating schedules for multiple projects.
- Manage materials efficiently to minimise waste while maintaining quality standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for travel between sites.
- Excellent communication skills in English to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce neat, precise finishes.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to painting and decorating tasks. Pay: £13.45-£20.00 per hour
