About the Role
We are looking for reliable and experienced Cleaning Operatives / Cleaning Supervisors in Schools to join our team in the following areas:
Location: Haywards Heath RH17 5RD
- Pay Rate: £12.71 (Cleaning Operative) Per Hour
- Hours: 12 Hours Per Week
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday - Fixed Hours 6pm till 9pm (Term time – 39 weeks per year)
Location: Pulborough RH20 1LW
- Pay Rate: £12.71 (Cleaning Operative) - £13.21 (Supervisor) Per Hour
- Hours: 4.5 Hours Per Week
- Shift Pattern: Monday, Wednesday and Friday - Fixed Hours 6.30pm to 8pm (Term time – 39 weeks per year)
Location: Bewbush RH11 0AQ
- Pay Rate: £12.71 (Cleaning Operative) Per Hour
- Hours: 10 Hours Per Week
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - Fixed Hours 4pm till 6pm (Term time – 42 weeks per year)
Location: Coolham RH13 8GR
- Pay Rate: £12.71 (Cleaning Operative) - £13.21 (Supervisor) Per Hour
- Hours: 10 Hours Per Week
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - Fixed Hours 6pm till 8pm (44 weeks per year)
Location: Southwater RH13 9JH
- Pay Rate: 13.21 (Supervisor) Per Hour
- Hours: 12.5 Hours Per Week
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - Fixed Hours 6pm till 8.30pm (Term time – 39 weeks per year)
Location: Cuckfield RH17 5BQ
- Pay Rate: £14.00 (Supervisor) Per Hour
- Hours: 10 Hours Per Week
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - Fixed Hours 6pm till 8pm (Term time 41 weeks per year)
Location: Burgess Hill RH15 0DP
- Pay Rate: £12.71 (Cleaning Operative) Per Hour
- Hours: 5 Hours Per Week
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday – Time to be agreed 4pm and 8pm (Term Time 44 weeks per year)
You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
What You’ll Do
- Perform cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, disinfecting, vacuuming, and mopping.
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries.
- Wash reusable cleaning materials (cloths, mop heads, dusters).
- Maintain equipment in good working order and report defects.
- Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste correctly.
- Complete daily/weekly site checklists.
- Respond promptly to any reactive cleaning tasks.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain stock levels and place orders.
- Carry out scheduled cleaning inspections.
- Attend regular meetings with the Area Manager.
- Ensure building security and manage key holding duties.
- Deliver excellent standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ cleaning experience.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH.
- Ability to use mobile devices for timekeeping and Whats App.
- Must live in the UK and have the Right to Work.
