***BRAND NEW OPENING*** We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food preparation and a keen interest in developing their culinary skills within a professional kitchen environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting senior chefs in preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and contributing to the smooth running of the kitchen.
Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of senior chefs
- Support the organisation and management of food production processes
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene within the kitchen
- Help with the presentation and garnishing of dishes to meet quality standards
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, well-maintained, and stored correctly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Contribute to the training and supervision of junior staff where applicable
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently during daily operations
- Participate in menu planning and development activities as required
Experience
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Familiarity with food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
- Experience in supervising or managing team members within a culinary setting is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in a restaurant or hotel environment
- Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- A genuine passion for culinary arts and hospitality industry standards
