We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a reputable client in Launceston

Location: Launceston
Pay Rate: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
Shift Pattern: AM, PM and night starts
Work Available: Full-time, part-time and ad-hoc
Shifts: Weekdays, weekends and nights
The Role
Working as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of goods.
Duties may include:
- General haulage and delivery work
- Multi-drop deliveries or trunking, depending on the client's needs
- Loading and securing goods safely
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Reporting any vehicle defects or issues
- Delivering goods safely and on time
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Maintaining tachograph and other required records
- Following all relevant road, transport and health & safety regulations
- Providing professional and friendly customer service
- Representing the agency and client professionally at all times
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred, although will consider newly passed drivers
- Good knowledge of UK road networks
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- No DD, DR or IN convictions
- Able to complete vehicle checks and required paperwork
- Good communication skills
