The Role
The core responsibilities of this role will be to work within the HSEQ and Compliance team, carrying out various administration tasks and coordinate the day to day HSEQ and Compliance activity in line with current legislation / regulation.
The right candidate will be computer literate, particularly Microsoft Excel and ideally have an interest in working within a Health and Safety Environment.
Provide overall support to the Operational teams across Evander and ensure a co-ordinated approach to HSE policy, improvements, operational compliance, facilities support and HSE reporting and work closely with the HR team to identify and support Health and Safety training.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer incidents and accidents reported within the health and safety system.
- Administer the daily, weekly, monthly audits within the health and safety system, providing weekly / monthly analysis of information.
- Capture the minutes and actions of the weekly HSEQ Focus Session.
- Participate in weekly HSEQ meetings.
- Administer the company accreditations and memberships relating to HSEQ, compliance and updating of associated portals.
- Data gathering relating to accident investigations, i.e. training records etc.
- Various type of desktop audits, scaffold, hot works, sub-contractor etc.
- Review and analysis of Permits issued.
- Updating and retention of records.
- Updating and maintenance of records within our integrated management system in line with ISO9001,1400145001.
- Support with company audit schedule and audit output.
- Support with facilities issues and the booking of contractors in response to these.
- Follow up on retaining evidence of communications cascades, i.e. toolbox talks etc.
- General day to day admin support.
- Creation of data for reporting purposes.
- Administer and contribute towards the annual review of documents, policies and processes.
- Encourage the development of best practice and shared expertise.
- Support the HR Development team in identifying and delivering of H&S training courses.
- Coordination of diaries and scheduling of meetings etc.

Pay: £26,228.00-£27,500.00 per year
