The Type of Graduates We Are Looking For

Key Responsibilities
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students with a variety of SEND including:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- Dyslexia
- SEMH needs
- Behavioural challenges
- Speech & Language difficulties
- Support students within lessons across KS3–KS5
- Deliver interventions both 1:1 and in small groups
- Help remove barriers to learning and improve student engagement and confidence
- Differentiate support to meet a range of learning needs
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
- Support positive behaviour and contribute to a calm, purposeful learning environment
- Work closely with teaching staff, SEND teams, and pastoral leads
- Encourage student independence, resilience, and academic progress
- Build strong relationships with students and act as a positive role model within the school community
