Key requirements include:

proven experience of, and knowledge and understanding of the application of, health and safety law, standards and guidance;

demonstrable experience of conducting suitable and sufficient risk assessments by identifying hazards, who is at risk, level of risk, control measures to be implemented and residual risk and implementing a system of monitor and review;

a successful track record of persuading and influencing at senior levels to drive improvements in health and safety; and
-
experience in the use of audits, inspections and assurance checks to drive continuous improvement.
