Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Part-Time Gardener to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing garden landscapes through hands-on gardening, landscape maintenance, and groundskeeping activities. This position offers a flexible schedule for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and have a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching.
- Assist with landscape maintenance including lawn mowing, edging, and trimming to keep gardens looking pristine.
- Support growing experiences by planting new flora and caring for existing plants according to horticultural best practices.
- Conduct groundskeeping duties such as raking leaves, clearing debris, and maintaining pathways.
- Follow safety procedures when operating tools and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and uphold high standards of garden care.
Qualifications
- Experience with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and groundskeeping equipment.
- Growing experience or knowledge of plant care and horticultural principles is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for active tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward garden upkeep.
- Prior experience in groundskeeping or landscaping is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed.
Pay: £8.00-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 18.0 per week
