Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Private Tutor to provide personalised educational support to students across various age groups and subjects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, excellent communication skills, and experience working with children or individuals requiring special education. Duties
- Deliver customised tutoring sessions in designated subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
- Assess students’ strengths and areas for improvement to develop effective lesson plans
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and confidence
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to parents or guardians as appropriate
- Utilise various teaching resources and educational tools to enhance learning experiences
- Support students with special educational needs by implementing specialised strategies and accommodations
- Maintain punctuality and professionalism in all tutoring sessions, ensuring consistent support for students’ academic development
Experience
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or young adults
- Knowledge of specialised educational requirements, including special education needs (SEN) is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining concepts clearly and effectively
- Experience working with diverse learners, demonstrating patience and adaptability
- Previous involvement in educational settings or training programmes is desirable but not essential
