We're looking for Mental Health Support Workers for our Supported Living setting in Shifnal.
Experience is not essential, however a proactive, positive nature is!
We offer £12.90 per hour and £88.00 per sleep plus enhanced rates for Bank Holidays.
We have a friendly and supportive team and will fund higher qualifications including NVQ Level 2, 3 and 5.
Our Supported Living service consists of independent flats with 24 hour support with a staff flat/office on site.
Typical shifts would typically be 8am-3pm, 3pm-10pm plus 10pm- 8am (Sleep in). Sleep in's are not essential.
Driving is not essential.
Responsibilities would include:
- Activity support
- Managing medication
- Building positive relationships
- Support with appointments
- Support with household tasks
- Support with cooking and shopping
Applicants should have these desirable qualities:
- A positive approach to others
- Good communication skills
- A friendly and approachable nature
- Good written skills
- Experience supporting others preferred but not essential
- Be willing to learn
- Car drivers would be welcomed but are not essential.
