Job Summary:
MB Malik Sports UK Ltd is seeking a commercially focused and organised Sporting Goods Operations Manager to lead and improve our daily operations in Manchester, England. This is an excellent opportunity for an operations professional who enjoys managing inventory, suppliers, order fulfilment, retail processes, and customer service within the sporting goods industry.
You will coordinate teams and resources across purchasing, warehousing, stock management, sales support, and distribution to ensure products are available and delivered efficiently. We welcome candidates with experience in retail, sporting goods, e-commerce, wholesale, logistics, or general business operations.
What you'll do:
- Oversee daily sporting goods retail, wholesale, warehouse, and fulfilment operations
- Manage stock availability, replenishment, inventory accuracy, and product movement
- Coordinate purchasing activities and maintain productive supplier relationships
- Monitor customer orders, dispatch schedules, returns, and delivery performance
- Lead, coach, and support operations, warehouse, and customer service team members
- Develop efficient processes that improve productivity and customer satisfaction
- Work closely with sales and e-commerce teams to support promotions and seasonal demand
- Monitor operational costs, staffing requirements, and performance targets
- Review stock and sales data to support purchasing and inventory decisions
- Ensure products are stored, handled, and dispatched safely and accurately
- Resolve operational, supplier, stock, and customer service issues
- Maintain accurate operational records and provide regular performance reports
- Support compliance with workplace safety, company policies, and relevant regulations
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste, control costs, and improve service delivery
Requirements:
- Experience in operations, retail, sporting goods, e-commerce, warehousing, wholesale, logistics, or a related field
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience is preferred
- Strong organisation, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage inventory, orders, suppliers, and competing priorities
- Good communication and relationship-management skills
- Comfortable working with operational reports, stock information, and performance targets
- Customer-focused approach with attention to quality and service
- Familiarity with inventory, retail, warehouse, or order-management systems is beneficial
- Relevant education or professional qualifications are preferred but not essential
- Equivalent practical experience will be considered

Pay: £3,800.00-£5,200.00 per month
