About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager with specialist knowledge in Learning Disabilities (LD) to lead and oversee our high-quality care service. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who is committed to delivering person-centred support and ensuring outstanding outcomes for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Register with the relevant regulatory body and maintain compliance with all regulations.
* Lead, manage, and support the staff team to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care.
* Ensure the service meets all regulatory standards and quality requirements.
* Develop individual care and support plans that promote independence and positive outcomes.
* Monitor safeguarding, risk management, medication management, and incident reporting.
* Recruit, supervise, train, and develop staff.
* Build positive relationships with families, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
* Manage budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
* Drive continuous service improvement and maintain excellent quality standards.
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Service Manager within learning disability services.
* Strong knowledge of relevant care legislation and regulatory standards.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to complete if required).
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, behaviours of concern, and complex needs.
* Full UK driving licence (preferred).
