Duties
- Greet guests warmly with a lively and positive attitude, making them feel at home from the moment they walk in
- Take accurate breakfast orders, ensuring special requests and dietary needs are clearly communicated to the kitchen
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining a high standard of presentation and quality
- Assist with food safety and cleanliness standards, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy breakfast hours to ensure prompt service and smooth table turnover
- Provide attentive guest services by checking on tables regularly, answering questions, and addressing any concerns promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with serving techniques, food safety regulations, and basic food preparation skills will be advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that creates a welcoming atmosphere
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and order accuracy
- Kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is a plus, helping you better understand food presentation and timing
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and positivity
- The location is not on public transport routes so own transport is essential.
- This will include weekends, Christmas and New Year work as we are 365 days a week business.
