Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and cooking of a diverse range of brunch menu items, ensuring consistency and excellence in taste and presentation
- Supervise kitchen staff during service, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain smooth operations
- Oversee food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and proper handling of ingredients
- Manage food production schedules to meet demand while minimizing waste
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure timely serving and high-quality guest experiences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation standards
- Assist in developing new brunch recipes and menu offerings to keep the dining experience fresh and innovative
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong food production skills with a focus on breakfast and brunch cuisine
- Excellent team management abilities, fostering a positive and collaborative work atmosphere
- Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
