Responsibilities
- Handle materials efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and manual tools to load, unload, and move stock around the warehouse
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and process shipping & receiving documentation
- Pick and pack orders accurately to ensure timely dispatch and delivery to customers or internal departments
- Stock shelves and storage areas systematically, maintaining organization for easy access and inventory control
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure standards are met
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely, following proper lifting techniques and safety protocols
- Support shipping & receiving activities by preparing goods for shipment, verifying orders, and managing inbound deliveries
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment or similar logistics setting
- Knowledge of materials handling equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred)
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily operations
- Mechanical knowledge or aptitude is advantageous for equipment maintenance or troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail for picking, packing, and quality control tasks
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
