We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of building tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. Ideal candidate.
- knowledge in propping building including the use of needles and acros.
- understanding how buildings are taken apart to do structural alterations.
- installing steel whether it be structural beams or decorative architectural stairs etc.
- sometimes work in our farlington based workshop helping the manufacturing side produce the steel.
- is preferred to have a driving license and own vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Perform diverse construction tasks including carpentry, , masonry, plumbing, and painting to support project requirements.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete building activities.
- Assist with fabrication of structural components and materials as needed for specific projects.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely progress while maintaining high quality workmanship.
- Follow safety protocols diligently and maintain a clean worksite to prevent accidents or hazards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans to execute tasks accurately.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in general construction work with skills in carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, painting, welding, electrical work, or fabrication.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for various building tasks.
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions effectively.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform demanding manual labor over extended periods.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in construction trades are a plus but not mandatory.
