Factory Operative
Powder coating components for our gates, garage doors, industrial shutters and more ensuring a high standard of quality in accordance with business standards.
Working in the powder coating department, you’ll be supporting the Factory Team Managers to ensure the highest standards and rates of production.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Powder coating our products to agreed specification and in line with daily production rates.
- Experience in powder coating would be an advantage, however full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
- Operate a range of machinery as part of a multi-skilled team.
- Focus on quality standards to ensure these are achieved and maintained.
- Minimise waste by increasing efficiency and reducing errors.
- Live by the 6S housekeeping methods to ensure environmental standards are sound.
- Operate safely within health and safety guidance.
- Take a proactive approach to training to ensure multi-skilling across teams.
§ Adhere to the company’s processes and procedures.
To be successful in this role you will have to:
§ Operate in a safe manner complying with health, safety, and environmental requirements to ensure own safety and the safety of others.
- Keep Powder Coating area clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency.

§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Skilled at understanding finished product & factory quality procedures.
- Able to use computers to a reasonable standard.
- Comfortable prioritizing workload and managing time effectively.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £23,964.50 per year

- Monday to Friday 36.25 hours per week
