Previous experience in store management, barbering, eyelash extensions, and makeup application is highly desirable, along with strong communication skills and the ability to upsell services effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences
- Offer excellent customer service by understanding client needs and providing personalised advice
- Maintain a clean and organised work station in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and handling enquiries
- Assist with store management tasks such as stock replenishment and maintaining product displays
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive team environment
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
Skills
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work
- Knowledge of barbering techniques is advantageous
- Exceptional communication skills to engage with clients effectively
- Ability to manage store operations including front desk responsibilities
- Experience in mentoring junior staff members or trainees
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to upsell products and services confidently
- Organised, reliable, with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
