Job Summary
EZ Rocks Construction Materials & Engineering Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Engineering Operations Manager to oversee engineering operations, technical teams, project delivery, resources, and operational performance.
The successful candidate will coordinate engineering activities, improve processes, manage teams and suppliers, and help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day engineering and technical operations
- Lead engineers, technical staff, contractors, and project teams
- Coordinate engineering projects, schedules, resources, and priorities
- Monitor operational performance, costs, quality, and productivity
- Support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation
- Work with construction, procurement, materials, and commercial teams
- Manage contractors, suppliers, and engineering service providers
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes and efficiency
- Support health and safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare operational reports and performance updates for senior management
Requirements
- Experience in engineering operations, project management, construction, manufacturing, or a related field
- Experience managing technical teams, projects, contractors, or suppliers
- Good understanding of engineering and operational processes
- Strong leadership, communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Good commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and resources
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Familiarity with engineering, project-management, or operational systems is advantageous
- Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent professional experience is preferred

Pay: £58,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
