Duties of the Dental Receptionist:
As a Dental Receptionist, you will:
- Deliver a professional, friendly, efficient reception and administration service to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
- Manage patient appointments, enquiries, and telephone calls in a courteous and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with general administrative duties.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with dentists, nurses, and the wider practice team.
- Liaise with the Practice Manager regarding administrative matters and daily operations.
- Ensure all procedures are are carried out in accordance with practice policies, GDPR requirements, and GDC guidelines.
- Support the smooth day to day running of the practice while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Job Type: Full Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8.45am till 5.45pm, alternate Saturdays 8.45am-3.15pm.

Requirements of the Dental Receptionist:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, professional, and caring attitude
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
- Previous reception or dental experience is desirable but not essential ( training can be provided for the right candidate)
- Good computer literacy and attention to detail
- Be able to work on own initiative and under pressure
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to work evenings and Saturdays
