Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
- Manage materials handling tasks with accuracy, ensuring proper stacking and storage
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for mechanical issues
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records
- Support warehouse organization by maintaining clean, safe, and efficient work areas
- Handle heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or similar environment
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and documentation
- Strong materials handling skills with attention to safety standards
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures and safety regulations
