Job Summary
We are seeking warm, friendly and experienced Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team.
Applicants are required to have previous experience in a similar role (front of house/bar) in a busy face paced environment.
Monthly TRONC and cash tips.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, menus, and service stations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery.
- Handle payments and perform basic math calculations for transactions.
- Manage time effectively to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in a front of house role.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary experience is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in serving food and beverages with attention to detail.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly rapport with guests.
