Planning Consultant / Architect Needed – Brighton HMO Planning Application
I am looking for an experienced Planning Consultant, Architectural Technician, or Architect to assist with a planning application for a proposed HMO conversion in Brighton & Hove.
Project Overview
- Property: Upper floors above commercial premises in Brighton city centre
- Proposed use: 4–6 bedroom HMO
- Location: Brighton & Hove (Article 4 area)
- Stage: Existing plans available. Initial feasibility review underway.
Scope of Work
- Review existing plans and assess planning viability
- Advise on Brighton & Hove HMO planning policies and Article 4 requirements
- Prepare or assist with proposed layout options
- Provide guidance on room sizes, communal space, and amenity standards
- Prepare and submit planning application (if proceeding)
- Liaise with the council as required
Requirements
- Experience with HMO planning applications
- Good knowledge of Brighton & Hove planning policies
- Experience working within Article 4 areas
- Ability to provide examples of similar projects completed successfully

Pay: £26,105.33-£59,793.55 per year
