About Nodera Care Limited
Nodera Care Limited is establishing a new, high-quality 3-bed en-suite children's home providing therapeutic, trauma-informed care for children and young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs (SEMH).

We are seeking an inspirational Registered Manager who shares our values and is committed to achieving an Ofsted rating of Good and progressing to Outstanding.
Applications are welcomed from experienced Registered Managers as well as experienced Deputy Managers or other senior managers who can demonstrate they are ready to step into their first Registered Manager role.
Job Purpose
The Registered Manager will be responsible for the leadership, management and day-to-day operation of the home, ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, care, compliance and staff development.
The successful applicant will be expected to register with Ofsted and maintain full compliance with:

Key Responsibilities
The Registered Manager will:
- Lead and manage the children's home to achieve Good or Outstanding outcomes.
- Promote exceptional safeguarding practice and child-centred care.
- Develop a positive therapeutic culture.
- Recruit, supervise and develop staff.
- Complete Regulation 45 reviews and quality assurance.
- Work closely with the Responsible Individual and Regulation 44 Visitor.
- Build positive relationships with placing authorities and partner agencies.
- Ensure children's care plans are effectively implemented.
- Oversee behaviour support, risk management and incident management.
- Maintain full regulatory compliance.
- Prepare for and respond to Ofsted inspections.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Promote children's education, health, independence and emotional wellbeing.
Essential Criteria
Applicants must have:
- Significant experience working in residential childcare.
- Experience supervising or managing staff.
- Thorough knowledge of safeguarding legislation.
- Excellent knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Ability to lead teams positively.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous Registered Manager experience.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
- Experience opening a new children's home.
- Experience achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practice.
- Experience working with children displaying complex emotional or behavioural needs.
Current Deputy Managers Encouraged to Apply
